Job Summary

We are customer-centric organization looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to secure new business and provide after-sale support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the market’s potential.
  • Present, promote and sell WNM Communications’ services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and customer visits.
  • Manage sales process through CRM (Salesforce), ensuring a 30/60/90-day funnel of business for consistent revenue production.
  • Coordinate sales efforts, installations, and customer issues with the proper department, maximizing the customer experience.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales goals and outcomes within schedule.
  • Establish visibility within the community to include attendance and engagement at various community events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented with proven experience as a Sales Executive.
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build professional relationships.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communications skills with the ability to close deals.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Hours

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility.

Job Title:  GIS Technician

WNM Communications has an immediate opening for a GIS Technician. Responsibilities include: GIS map
production and design using ESRI/MapCom software as well as data conversion, technical report writing, and
spreadsheet data entry. The individual will act under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Engineering and
assist in various GIS related projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills and
perseverance to complete lengthy projects is a cost-effective way.
Education: High school diploma and some college level course work in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Computer
Science, Civil Engineering or related majors
Successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to provide technical reports
to non-GIS users.
Computer Skills: 1-year experience in GIS mapping software, specifically ESRI/MapCom. Working knowledge of
Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as D-size plotters
Relevant Experience: 1-year experience in GIS mapping software

Combination Technician

Silver City, NM

SUMMARY

Responsible for the installation and servicing of wireless and wired Broadband equipment in customers’ locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Perform wireless site surveys for internal or external wireless LANs.

Run cables such as CAT5, Fiber, and RG.

Terminate, test and validate CAT5 and CAT6 cables.

Heavy lifting may be required in handling tools, ladders, materials and supplies.

Loads necessary tools, material and equipment on company vehicles and drives to work locations.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

Must be able to attend and successfully complete training courses.

Must have working knowledge of computers.

Maintain accuracy in all reporting functions.

Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights of over 20 feet.

Must be able to work required overtime, emergency call-out, weekends and out of town assignments.

Maintains compliance to all relevant OSHA, safety, or departmental standards as directed by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Valid Driver Licenses and an insurable driving record.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Basic computer skills to perform job.

Use of e-mail and other software will be required.

Working knowledge of wireless AP hardware

Understanding of wireless switch/bridge technologies

Understanding of new technologies such 802.11i, 802.16(a), and RFID.

Previous installation experience highly preferred.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

Able to install hardware such as CPE, Routers and telephones

Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation, stability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement robust, scalable solutions for physical and virtual servers, optimizing performance and meeting business needs.
  • Implement and enforce a comprehensive security posture encompassing user access controls, data encryption, disaster recovery procedures, and staying vigilant against evolving threats.
  • Create, manage, and secure user accounts and groups within Active Directory or a similar directory service, ensuring proper permissions and access controls.
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools, identifying and resolving potential issues before they disrupt operations.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve efficiency and free up time for more strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and best practices through continuous learning.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the IT Technician team, fostering collaboration and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience working in a virtual environment. (VMWare)

Responsibilities:
Design outside plant fiber and copper projects.
Design outside plant Broadband Loop Carriers (BLC).  BLC’s provide broadband to remote areas based on the company’s and regulatory requirements.
Participate in associated aspects of strategic planning processes.
Research and develop new products, methods, technologies and architectures associated with the outside plant.
Coordinate with local, state, and federal government entities on projects as necessary (road construction projects, permits, mapping, etc.).
Acquire permits and rights-of-way required to commence construction.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Understanding of telecom plant materials (i.e. conduit/duct, copper and fiber cables, access equipment, hand-holes, manholes, pedestals, poles, etc.).
Understanding and knowledge of typical installation practices, and design concepts is preferable.
Knowledge and experience with NESC and NEC requirements is preferable.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.
Competence with basic computer systems (i.e. Spreadsheets, Word Processing, email, etc.).
Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience, in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, etc. or other industry related or comparable experience is required.
