These fine mule deer hunts take place during the months of September, October, November and January. In September and October the bucks are still in full velvet. This hunt takes place the last week of September and the first week of October. This is strictly a muzzleloader hunt and lasts 5-6 days. A license must now be purchased over-the-counter (OTC) for $270.00 plus $5.00 for a Habitat Stamp. The November deer hunts are held the first two weeks of November. If you are looking for a buck in the 25" - 30" range, wait no longer! These licenses must be purchased OTC for the same price. The last hunt we offer takes place in January and is strictly an archery hunt. It is possible to see very exceptional bucks during the "rut" hunt. Be prepared to shoot 20-80 yards on this hunt. All of our hunts take place on public land in the Gila and Apache National Forest.
