Our muzzleloader elk hunts take place in units 15A and 15B, which have been combined into one unit in the last two years. These units have been closed to rifle hunting for the past 22 years. This has allowed the bulls to reach their superior genetic potential. These hunts can be, but are not always, a little more physically demanding than the archery hunts. During the first muzzleloader hunt, it is possible to catch the tail end of the rut where bugling can still be heard. If not, that's where the expertise of your guide comes in; knowing where the bulls are or where they are going! Together with a little luck and some hard work, you could be put in a position to harvest one of these MAGNIFICENT TROPHIES!
Muzzleloader hunts take place during the months of October and November.
