| Running Horse Gallery is a unique showplace in the Mogollon mountains of southwest New Mexico.
Representing over 30 regional artists and craftspeople, the gallery is
sure to delight the viewer with the originality and variety of its artwork.
A former bakery is reborn as a gallery, offering a five-room display of
everything from willow furniture, raku pottery, nature photography,
and painted silk to gourd masks, fine jewelry, western prints and originals,
hand-woven clothing, and clay art. Found among the displays
are wood and bronze sculpture, mesquite burl lamps, and a wild assortment of notecards.
We're open year-round 10-5 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. |

Owner and clay artist, Jude Wasechek, works in her studio beside
the gallery. She has been producing functional and decorative pottery
in New Mexico for over 25 years. Her intricately incised dishes are her
trademark, however, raku masks, organic shapes, and mixed media wall pieces
reveal another side to her creativity. |
